These two mature Copper Beeches had reached an impressive 80ft in height. Pruning required an application to the council in order to comply with their Tree Preservation Orders.
Beech trees hold alot of water when in leaf due to their dense leaf coverage. This alongside their heavy hard wood puts the larger branches at risk of failing and breaking off. The Local Authroity gave us permisson to reduce these trees by 20% in order to keep this risk at a much lower level.
Shape & Thin
Careful selection of branch removal was needed in order to make the trees safe whilst maintaining their natural beauty.
